The eastern end of the Great Wall, the Tiger Mountain Great Wall

You can take a bus from the bus stop in front of Dandong Railway Station for ¥5 per person. The last stop is Hushan Great Wall, and your original drop-off point is the return bus stop. Seats are limited on the bus, so latecomers can use small stools. Those arriving later must stand. The one-way journey takes about 40 minutes. Tickets for the Hushan long-distance route must be purchased an hour in advance, preferably a day in advance. The initial climb up the Great Wall was smooth, but it became steeper around platforms 3 and 4. Fortunately, it was cloudy with occasional drizzles, but you had to persevere to reach the final platform and enjoy the panoramic view! Gazing across the river at North Korea, you could see migrant workers hard at work, and occasionally hear them playing pep talks or music. It was truly magical and fascinating!
