The eastern starting point of the Great Wall~Hushan Great Wall

Hushan Great Wall is located in the east of Dandong City, Liaoning Province, at the Sino-Korean border river, the Yalu River. It has been restored to a length of 1250 meters. It was originally built in the fifth year of the Ming Chenghua period and is the easternmost starting point of the Great Wall of China. It is an important scenic area in the national Yalu River Scenic Area, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, and a national cultural heritage site. The reconstruction of the wall was based on the original ruins, and the trajectory of the wall and the location of the enemy towers are consistent with historical records. The main components include the Great Wall's body, horse faces, beacon towers, etc., which together form a relatively complete defensive system. Located close to the national border, climbing to the top of the beacon tower offers a view of the daily life of the North Korean people.
