Oakwood Hotel - A Rare Find In Kuala Lumpur

I’ve stayed in the number of hotels in Kuala Lumpur over the years but in the end I always prefer Oakwood Hotel and Residence and here’s why I think so. 1. Oakwood Hotel and Residence is located in a safe area surrounded by embassies and consulates. It is fairly close to KLCC and public transport so getting to the hotel is simple and great. The hotel also provides good parking for a decent price of 8MYR a day. The parking is inside the building so your car is safe from the rain and thieves. 300 and 303 bus takes you directly to KLCC, but make sure to buy your touch n go card for easier commute since the bus doesn’t accept cash. 2. Oakwood Hotel and Residence offers bigger rooms with a living room and a small kitchen so you can have a lot of space to yourself in the room. It is great especially if you’re traveling as a couple. If you’re traveling as a family, you have an option to book joining rooms, so you can have access to a living room area and 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. 3. Swimming pool at Oakwood Hotel and Residence is big and wide so you can truly enjoy your holidays while chilling by the pool and swimming up and down the pool alone or with family and friends. There is a kiddy pool as well for your little ones. 4. The gym at Oakwood Hotel and Residence is truly great with new equipment, air-conditioners, toilet, showers and drinking water. 5. My favorite thing about Oakwood Hotel and Residence is free self laundry room. Bring your own detergent and you can wash your clothes in the laundry room, there are dryer machines as well so you don’t need to worry about drying your clothes afterwards. It is great since most of hotels do not have this option. 6. Another great thing about Oakwood Hotel is the water filter so you never need to buy drinking water and you can have unlimited drinking water at any time.
