Thean Hou Temple: A Chinese Temple in Kuala Lumpur

Thean Hou Temple, a Chinese temple in Kuala Lumpur, is a six-story temple dedicated to Mazu, the Chinese goddess of the sea. Inside the temple, there are three deities: the Goddess of the Sea (Mazu), Guan Yin, and the Hainan Goddess. Visitors can pray for wealth, children, or health according to their beliefs, using four incense sticks as part of the ritual. In my opinion, this is one of the larger Chinese temples in Kuala Lumpur, and its interior is beautifully decorated. The temple is not overly crowded, maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. While there is no strict dress code prohibiting short clothing, it is best to dress modestly out of respect. For transportation, you can easily call a Grab ride, which is convenient and reasonably priced.
