Getting Lost in Tsutaya Books – A Solo Bookworm’s Dream

#solotrip I didn’t plan to spend hours at Tsutaya Books… but that’s exactly what happened. Every corner was beautifully designed, from the towering bookshelves to the cozy children’s reading area bathed in warm light. I found unique Japanese lifestyle products, stunning art books, and even scented candles inspired by Asian flavors. One of my favorite finds? A tiny Daruma figurine, where you make a wish and fill in one eye—then complete the other when it comes true. It felt like the perfect little souvenir for this solo trip. If you love books, slow travel, and aesthetic spaces, this place is a must-visit.
