Wow, KL’s time-honored Ho Kau Tea Shop is really worthy of praise! This is a breakfast destination that everyone has passed down by word of mouth. It is located in the bustling center of KL and is extremely popular. My friends have always warned me to queue up early, otherwise the wait would be horrible. Haha, we quickly got a number as soon as we arrived, but we still had to wait for an hour before it was our turn. However, the food here is definitely worth the wait! The staff in the store are all very friendly and the boss is also very polite. I even saw him wiping the chopsticks himself downstairs. He is so meticulous! We ordered snow oil kaya toast, curry + hard-boiled egg toast, and fried chicken nasi lemak. The aroma of butter and kava hits your nose. Kava has the flavor of green pandan, I love it! Bread tastes best when eaten hot! The nasi lemak is full of coconut aroma, and the fried chicken is tender and delicious, which is definitely not comparable to the spiced chicken.
