National Mosque of Malaysia

📝Malaysia part6📝 📷📷📷📷 It's right next to the Islamic Art Museum we visited earlier, so we checked in on the way. This mosque was built in 1957, the first year of the Federation of Malaysia (declaration of independence), and is the national mosque of the country. 🖼️🖼️🖼️🖼️ The mosque hall is covered with a 16-pointed star concrete roof, and the minaret is 73 meters high, symbolizing open and closed umbrellas, which subtly reflects the climate characteristics of Malaysia, a tropical country. From this point of view, the design is quite ingenious.
