Mini Zoo of Kuala Krai

A small zoo located at the heart of a small town Kuala Krai, Kelantan. You can drive 1 hour 15 minutes from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to reach Kuala Krai or reach it by train from the Wakaf Bharu station. The zoo is located in front of the old Kuala Krai Hospital and Kuala Krai Lake. The entrance tickets were affordable. MYR 12 for adults and MYR 6 for kids. It is open from 9.30 am to 6 pm. Once you enter the zoo, you are greeted by a pleasant view of an artificial waterfall, and a few nice spots for taking photos or selfies. Then you will find a petting house where they exhibit a few reptiles, birds and mammals for petting. You can experienced holding and petting them. The trip inside the zoo requires a little bit of hiking up and down the small hill terrace. The zoo area is not large but fair enough to make you sweat. Eating place is available inside the zoo. It is probably a nice place to spend with your kids. #minizoo #kualakrai
