Kowloon City | Hamataki | Hidden World Japanese Restaurant

Since the West Rail Line was extended, it has become much more convenient to travel out of Kowloon, so there are more opportunities to go to Kowloon City for food. This time I went to a Japanese restaurant located on Fuk Lao Village Road. The restaurant has two floors and is decorated in the style of an izakaya, which is quite comfortable. There are many choices on the menu, and alcoholic drinks are also available🤩. - 💥Half-cooked lobster HKD$688, this is our first time eating this dish, we saw it was recommended so we ordered it to try it🙈. This dish is served with a whole lobster and sea urchin on top of the half-cooked lobster. This tastes sweet and refreshing. The half-cooked lobster tastes even better, and the texture of the whole lobster is quite special 🤩. After eating all the sea urchin and lobster meat, the waiter will take the lobster head to cook soup/porridge. We chose to cook it into soup and served it in a small stone pot. The soup base is sweet and fresh, and contains mixed vegetables, tofu and shredded radish. - 💥Wine and cheese HKD$68, this is one of the common snacks in Japan and is also a delicacy recommended by the store manager🙈. The sauce is made of bonito liver, and the cream cheese underneath has a smooth texture. This is eaten wrapped in seaweed, it tastes salty and is very appetizing. It can be used as a snack to mix with wine 😆. - 💥Okinawa jellyfish sashimi HKD$98. I rarely eat jellyfish sashimi, so I specially ordered it to try. This one has a very crisp texture, and the store’s homemade yuzu teriyaki sauce makes the taste even more delicious and sour, which is very appetizing. - 💥Sake-cooked clams HKD$98, we really like this food🤩, and we order it every time we go to eat Japanese food. The dish smelled delicious when it was served, the soup base was sweet and refreshing, and the wine taste was not too strong 😚. The portion of clams is quite large, and the meat is sweet and refreshing. - 💥Select your own skewers HKD$16/skewer, ordered chicken cartilage, Japanese chicken skin and pineapple skewers, the skewers are made on the spot so you have to wait for a while. The food smelled delicious when it was served, and each skewer was seasoned differently🤤. Although the skewers are simply seasoned, they are delicious and tasty. - For drinks, I ordered a king-sized lime soda and a king-sized grapefruit honey soda. Both drinks were big 🙈 and had lime in them.
