Since we were traveling with kids, we wanted to enjoy the convenience of the city center and then switch to a family-friendly hotel to relax. 1️⃣ Shangri-La Tanjung Aru is a family-friendly hotel that can meet all your needs. It has a large lawn park, an infinity pool, a private beach, various indoor entertainment rooms, and childcare services. It is also one of the world's top 3 sunset viewing spots. 🌄 2️⃣ There is a large water play area in the hotel. I have attached photos. The white slide in the middle is the most exciting and suitable for adults. The blue and yellow slides get stuck halfway, and the green spiral slide is fun. Both kids and adults played several times and never got tired of it. 🏊‍♂️ 3️⃣ The pool is divided into several areas. The diving area is suitable for children who can't swim, and there is a bridge at the connection with the deep-water area, which is perfect for taking photos of children. 📸 There is also a deep and shallow swimming pool for adults, and one of them is an infinity pool if you find the right angle. 🌊 4️⃣ The hotel sells ice cream, various drinks, and has a bar. You can also order takeout on Grab. 🍦 5️⃣ The hotel has a small private beach. At high tide, it looks like a swing on the water. At sunset, everyone gathers to watch the sunset. We booked a king room on the east side near the lawn, which is a bit far from the pool and the sunset bar. If you book a standard room, it will be on the west side of the hotel, and you may be able to see the sunset from the balcony. 🌅
