The World War II Memorial: Kerapu Bank

Built in 1912 , this bank is the first building used as a commercial bank in the state. The “kerapu” word means the rough of the exterior walls on the building. From 1942-1945, this building has been chosen as a headquarters of Japanese secret police. After the war ended, it once again used as the bank.
