Wat Ratchathammaram (Wat Sila Ngu) - A Spiritual Destination in Koh Samui

Locals call it Wat Phra That Hin Ngu or Wat Sila Ngu because it has a stupa and a beach area with rocks resembling snake scales. When the tide rises, it looks like a snake lying in the sea. The Phra That Sila Ngu is a golden stupa situated on a terrace near the beach. The temple has a red ordination hall, which is red because it uses finely ground salty limestone mixed with cement and then mixed with red color, giving it a unique appearance.
