Been drinking on the beach since after lunch – all kinds of drinks, including special cocktails mixed by the cute bartender at the beach bar, fantastic! As the first ShaSa Resort & Residences, it was meticulously crafted to create a paradise-like beautiful scene and quickly became one of the most popular hotels on Koh Samui! The original hotel has been completely re-conceptualized and redesigned, and after the upgrade, it is impeccable – perfectly blending its famous aesthetic characteristics with contemporary charm. ShaSa Resort is located at the quiet end of Chaweng Beach, the most idyllic beach on Koh Samui, nestled in lush gardens with an unobstructed view of the sea lapping the shore, making one feel as if they are in a secluded paradise far from anywhere. We stayed in a sea view suite, and the minibar in all rooms at ShaSa Resort & Residences on Koh Samui is free – restocked daily, and includes whiskey, vodka, and gin, along with a full set of cocktail-making tools! Perfect for friends who love to drink! The restaurants at ShaSa Resort & Residences are also very good! My favorite is the Sa-Nga Sa-Nga Thai restaurant, with its Tapas-style exquisite Thai bites – the most delicate and delicious Thai food I've had in Thailand in the last six months – the final dessert was like an elegant lady wearing an oversized hat. The hotel's The Gin Lounge has over twenty different flavors of gin made by the bartender – torch ginger, mustard, lavender, Tom Yum... each one is special, and finally, I also love the beachfront restaurant Salt Society. Great food and wine, plus a beautiful view – the perfect vacation time!
