Lamai Viewpoint

#samuiisland To go up to the top you pay 100 Baht per person, for 200 you can take a cable car up and down, but you have to walk a bit up to the station. I chose to use my legs up and down myself, and walked through fairly dense forest. At the top, there are great photo opportunities towards the sea, and here there is also a cafe with both food and drink with pleasant service. At the top, there is also the option of taking a Zipline for those who wish, and there are good seats both in the cafe and on other ledges. A decent change from other sights, and parking is done outside the place where you buy tickets.

Lamai Viewpoint & Valentine Stone

The Valentine Stone is one of the lesser visited attractions on this beautiful island, and we will explain more about it and the park it sits in shortly, but let’s first understand a little more about the island itself. It makes a great “day trip” and sits in a park which is around one kilometer before the town of Lamai. The park itself has a waterfall, a viewpoint and the ‘Stone’ all in one area. The history of the stone is unknown, but it is shaped like a huge heart, and local legend has it that if lovers touch the stone together then their love for each other will be endless. #scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#merryxmas
