First time in Trat, I went to Koh Chang. I wanted to eat the food that the locals eat. I found this restaurant. They said that it is a local restaurant that serves local food. Okay, let's try it!! Baan Ta Klua I found that the food is not overly seasoned. It emphasizes the taste of the ingredients. This is my first time eating here. I don't know what it tastes like in other places. Let's see each menu. 🧡 #Fried Mangrove Leaves Stuffed with Pork and Shrimp The mangrove leaves are quite thick, but they are fried until crispy and not oily at all. Stuffed with shrimp and pork that are seasoned just right. Dip it in the sweet and slightly sour sauce. This dish is very enjoyable. 🧡 #Pla Nam Dok Mai Pla Pla is a local pla. The dressing is not what we are familiar with. It is a sweet dressing mixed with peanuts. The texture of the Pla Nam Dok Mai is similar to chicken, so it is a local fish. 🧡 #Chicken boiled with cardamom This bowl is refreshing and easy to swallow. Not as spicy as spicy and sour Tom Yum, but well-rounded with aromatic herbs, cardamom, lemongrass, chili, and galangal (I just tried chewing cardamom, it was delicious). 🧡 #Stir-fried glass noodles with squid and shrimp paste from Koh Chang Stir-fried until juicy, not dry. The shrimp paste flavor is not prominent, it is clearly salty. The shrimp paste is mild, fragrant but not salty. It is not too strong when eaten alone. The squid is fresh and crispy. 🧡 #Grilled seafood The set includes shrimp, squid, and crab, grilled just right, not dry. The seafood sauce is medium-flavored (not too spicy). Overall, the Trat food we tried for the first time at this restaurant uses good ingredients, the flavor is medium-flavored, not spicy. However, we did not order any menu items with pictures of chili (meaning spicy), so we do not know what the flavor is like. If anyone has eaten Trat food, please tell us what the flavor is like. The atmosphere is very nice by the water. The restaurant does not have air conditioning. But the design is airy and spacious. There are many types of seats. Inside, outside is by the water. You can see 2 views, both the canal and the sea. Good service, polite, clean shop and bathroom.
