When I heard it was the ruins of a castle, I imagined it to be a bit dull, but this place is not like that at all. It's spacious and just walking around is pleasant. From the castle tower, you can see the Kofu cityscape, and you can even catch a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains in the distance. A truly spectacular spring view! There weren't too many tourists, and the relaxed atmosphere of locals relaxing on benches was also very pleasant.
