Climb Kobe Port Tower

Kobe's landmark, Kobe Port Tower, was built in 1963. The tower is 108 meters high and has a hyperboloid structure, resembling a waist drum. Admission to Kobe Port Tower is JPY 1,200 (JPY 600 for ages 65 and over). The top of the tower has an indoor observation deck and an outdoor observation deck on the highest floor, with elevators directly to the indoor observation deck. Climbing the tower before sunset is undoubtedly the best time to enjoy the view, so there are many tourists at this time, and you need to queue for the elevator. When you reach the top floor, the sun is setting. Both indoor and outdoor observation decks offer 360-degree panoramic views of Kobe Port and Kobe City, with views of Mount Rokko and Osaka Bay in the distance.
