The blueberries here are grown using a method called root cultivation (Ezawa-style cultivation). Root cultivation involves three "nots": No beds are made (planted directly in the ground), No watering after planting (should not be done), No fertilizer is used (don't try to grow them from the first year). This allows the seedlings to reach their full potential, producing large, high-sugar blueberries🫐 Thanks to this cultivation method, the blueberries were really large and sweet! Still, the sweetness and hardness differ depending on the tree, so it was fun to compare the taste. It's pesticide-free, and costs only 1,000 yen for an unlimited time, and it even comes with a souvenir blueberry, so I was surprised at how good it was.
