We went to Kirishima Shrine in Kagoshima Prefecture ⛩️ This place, located at the foot of the Kirishima mountain range and considered to be the most powerful spot in southern Kyushu, enshrines Ninigi-no-Mikoto, the protagonist of Japan's founding myth, and is a shrine with a long history founded around the 6th century 🥸 It is said that even Sakamoto Ryoma visited here on his honeymoon! After passing through the quiet approach covered in greenery, you will be greeted by a dignified and beautiful vermilion-painted shrine building!
