Wat Tung Setthi is located in Tambon Phra Lap, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, covering an area of 73.2 rai. Construction began in 1999. The construction was initiated by “Luang Ta Oi” (Sawat Sila Udomthap) or known as Luang Ta Oi Yam Daeng. The origin of Wat Tung Setthi began when Luang Ta traveled to various provinces in the northeast for many years, mostly helping parents and teachers in the meditation lineage of the great teacher Luang Pu Man Phurithatto. He helped support Buddhism both directly and indirectly, using both supernatural powers and merit powers to persuade villagers to have faith and come to the temple to make merit and practice Dhamma in large numbers. However, his charity for people continued like this for some time. He considered it and saw that he had helped people in various areas for quite some time. It was time to return to help his children and grandchildren in his hometown in Khon Kaen Province. After returning to Khon Kaen not long ago, Luang Ta remembered that he had an old plot of land, covering an area of about 5 rai, so he went to explore it. From the survey at that time, He realized with his clairvoyance that this was a sacred land, “the land of the three worlds.” So, he and his disciples bought additional land to build a temple directly at the important point of the three worlds. He ordered the construction of a great pagoda to cover it. However, it is well-known among his close descendants that Luang Ta did not only build this great pagoda, but also supported the country and the Chakri dynasty, as he often said, “It was built to honor the King.” Luang Ta said that the name of Wat Tung Setthi was “because there will be millionaires who come to make merit with us. There are both minor millionaires, major millionaires, and future minor millionaires. Even though some people are not yet millionaires today, they will eventually become millionaires.” #NortheasternTeam#GoodAtmosphereAccommodation#BuffetLover#BuffetReview#NaturalTherapy
