Khao Yoi Cave Temple, Phetchaburi Province

Khao Yoi Cave or Wat Tham Khao Yoi is located in Khao Yoi Subdistrict, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province. It is a large stone mountain. Inside the cave, there is a reclining Buddha and various Buddha images. There is also a replica of the Buddha's footprint of King U Thong for worship. After worshiping the Buddha, you can walk around and enjoy the nature and the beautiful cave. Inside the cave is a hall with beautiful stalactites on top. In addition to the hall, there is a walkway down to another hall with rows of Buddha images, including the Goddess of Mercy and King U Thong, a king from the Ayutthaya period. In a sitting position, there is a Buddha image on his lap, royal regalia, and two elephant statues on the left and right. On the sides are stone walls that seem to envelop him.
