"Bertam Resort: A Hidden Gem for Family Fun & Relaxation in Penang

#georgetowntrip 📍Bertam Resort, Penang Check-In: 5/4/2025 Check-Out: 6/4/2025 Price: RM355.00 including breakfast & tax (via Trip.com) Room Type: Superior Twin - Pool View Check-in/Check-out: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very quick. Although there was quite a queue during check-in, the process was very smooth and fast. Not many forms to fill in either—just provide your IC and sign. Before check-in, you can enjoy a welcome drink to refresh yourself. The receptionist was nice and friendly. There's a security guard at the lobby entrance. No deposit required. Check-out: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quick. Just return the room key/card. Don’t forget to validate your Touch ‘n Go card to get free parking—it’s right beside the reception counter. Parking: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Valet parking at the lobby costs RM30, public parking is RM6, but you need to validate at the counter before exiting to get free parking. Public parking is open-air and requires a bit of walking and stairs. Room: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The pool view is superb. This room type doesn't have a balcony—just a window. Bed and pillows were great. Four pillows provided, plus an extra one. There’s an iron and ironing board, mini fridge, TV, and even a prayer mat (sejadah). Very clean and well-maintained. The toilet was clean, though no bathtub. Coincidentally, it was my birthday during check-in, and after checking in someone knocked on the door to surprise me with a birthday cake from the hotel! Facilities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅Kids club: spacious ✅Gym: open till 10 PM, really good—feels like Celebrity Fitness. There’s also a sauna. ✅Game room, karaoke room. ✅Café was attractive, lots of nice OOTD (photo) spots. ✅There’s a water park right next door—walking distance, and they also provide a buggy. Basically, you don’t even need to leave the place—everything’s available here. Breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food was similar to other hotels, quite a variety. Dining space was large, with very beautiful and luxurious decor. Swimming Pool: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are two pools—one for kids and one for adults. Very spacious and beautiful. There are also great OOTD spots by the pool, especially stunning at night. But the pool closes at 7 PM, if I’m not mistaken. This hotel is highly recommended for those wanting to go on a holiday with family or friends. If you're looking for a place with everything included, you can just stay here. Enjoy the facilities and even visit the water park.
