Its texture is popular for both everyday use and art. • Currently, there are more than 300 active potters, and many young artists are trying their hand at pottery while preserving tradition. • At Kasama Crafts Hill and the Ibaraki Prefectural Ceramic Art Museum, you can experience pottery such as using a wheel, hand-forming, and painting. ⸻ 🗺Access & Experience Model Route 1. Take a bus or taxi from Kasama Station on the JR Mito Line to the shrine in about 5 minutes. 2.
