[Nagano] A stay at the quiet hotel surrounded by nature, Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel

This is a review of the Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel. During this stay, we had dinner on the balcony of our room, hors d'oeuvres that we bought in the town of Karuizawa, and breakfast and lunch in the hotel restaurant. Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel is a Prince hotel located about 2km south of Karuizawa Station, surrounded by nature. The "Asama" in the name seems to come from the fact that you can see Mt. Asama in its entirety. All rooms have balconies, and you can enjoy a view of the rich nature from every room. In addition to the Asama Prince Hotel where we stayed, there are many other Prince hotels in Karuizawa, including The Prince Karuizawa, The Prince Villa Karuizawa, and Karuizawa Prince Hotel West & East. Karuizawa Prince East & West and The Prince Villa Karuizawa are close to Karuizawa Station, and all of them are less than 1km away, so you can probably walk there from the station. It is adjacent to Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza. Of these hotels, we chose Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel, which is the furthest from the station, not because we play golf, but because it seemed the quietest and all the rooms have balconies. ◆Parking◆ Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel is far from the station, but the parking lot is spacious and free of charge. It was very convenient for visiting by car. ◆Twin Room (Non-smoking)◆ Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel has three types of rooms: "Twin Room (1F)", "Comfort Twin Room (3F)", and "Suite Room". The twin room and comfort twin are both the same size, 30m2 room area and 6.9m2 balcony, but they are on different floors, 1F and 3F. The twin room is slightly cheaper. The suite room seems to have a room area of ​​85m2 and a balcony of 8.2m2. I'm glad that all the rooms have balconies♪ For dinner, we bought various things in the city of Karuizawa and ate them on the balcony while drinking local beer. ◆Moisturizing neutral hot spring "Breeze in Plateau" (additional charge)◆ Asama Prince Hotel has a hot spring building called "Breeze in Plateau". The spring quality is sodium bicarbonate chloride hot spring, a hypotonic neutral hot spring. (Hypotonic hot springs are hot springs with weak hot spring ingredients, while hypertonic hot springs are hot springs with strong hot spring ingredients) The water felt smooth and gentle on the skin. The hot spring had an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna. The waiting room (lounge) was also stylish. ◆Breakfast at the restaurant "Dining Bloom"◆ During this stay, we had breakfast and lunch on the day of check-out at the restaurant "Dining Bloom". The restaurant uses a lot of space, so we were able to eat comfortably without worrying about the tables around us. Breakfast was buffet style. There was plenty of fresh local vegetables.
