The trip start from Kuala Lumpur to Almaty City, Kazasthan😁 I’ll be visiting Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, thanks to AirAsia! 🥰 I’ll be sharing all about my trip, including the amazing places I’ve explored. For now, let me introduce you to the oldest mosque in Karakol City, Kyrgyzstan—the Dungan Mosque. Dungan Mosque was built between 1907 and 1910 without a single nail, the Dungan Mosque is an architectural gem. It was constructed by the Dungan people, a Chinese Muslim community who fled violence in the 1870s and 1880s. The mosque’s design was crafted by a Chinese architect, blending traditional Chinese colors and motifs. The prominent colors—red, green, and yellow—hold symbolic meanings in Dungan culture: red for protection against evil spirits, yellow for prosperity, and green for happiness.
