Songkhla River or Huai Songkhla is a river in Kanchanaburi Province. It flows through many Karen communities and villages. It is the river that divides Sangkhla Buri District into two sides before flowing into two other rivers, the Rantee River and the Big Biki River, becoming the Kwai Noi River at a point called "Sam Sop" or "Sam Prasob" near Uttamanusorn Bridge (Mon Bridge) and Wat Wang Wiwekaram. The word Songkhla is a Mon language meaning "the other side"[citation needed].
