Beautiful temple in the middle of the forest, Tham Phuwa Temple, Kanchanaburi Province

🛕 Wat Tham Phu Wa 🛕 is located in Nong Ya Subdistrict, Mueang District, Kanchanaburi Province. The front is a red-brown sandstone castle, which is an ancient Khmer art form. The tattoos are very delicate and beautiful. The atmosphere around the temple is very shady because it is full of various trees. Inside this temple, there is a cave with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Inside the cave, there is a Buddha statue in a meditation posture as the principal Buddha image and there is a chimney to let light shine down. There is also a relic of the Buddha brought from Myanmar for tourists to worship for good fortune. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
