A trip to Kanazawa in the fall 🚄 I was soothed by the view of Kenrokuen Garden, but I was a bit tired from all the walking... I stopped into a cafe I fell in love with at first sight on Tea Shop Street, a little ways back. "Horai-do" I ordered a Mont Blanc plate from the seasonal menu. It was topped with a generous amount of sliced ​​Japanese chestnuts, and the rich chestnut flavor went really well with the fresh cream. It also came with kinako warabi mochi and matcha ice cream, making for a very satisfying tea time.
