Spring Serenity in Kamakura

#springitinerary Visiting Kamakura in spring, Hasedera Temple is a total must-see. Nicknamed the Temple of Flowers, it’s where peaceful vibes and nature come together perfectly. Starting mid-February, the early Kawazu-zakura cherry blossoms pop with soft pink hues, and by late March, the classic Somei Yoshino and weeping cherries are in full bloom, making everything look straight out of a movie. One of the best spots to soak it all in is near the Kannon Hall, where the blossoms beautifully frame the temple’s architecture. Don’t miss the view from the main hall’s balcony, it offers a stunning panorama of cherry trees and the surrounding scenery. If you’re there around April 8th, check out the Hana Matsuri festival celebrating Buddha’s birth for a unique cultural experience. Overall, Hasedera is the perfect chill spot to relax, reflect, and enjoy spring’s beauty without the usual crowds.
