Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden: Step into a painting once, and dream back a thousand years

In 1101, Zhang Zeduan created 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival'. The painting is 24.8 cm wide and 528.7 cm long. It adopts the form of a long scroll and uses the scattered perspective method to vividly record the urban landscape of Dongjing (also known as Bianjing, now Kaifeng, Henan) during the 12th century in China, and the living conditions of people from all social strata at that time. It is a testament to the prosperity of Dongjing, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, and a portrayal of the urban economy of the Northern Song Dynasty, with high historical and artistic value. Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden is located in Kaifeng, an ancient capital of eight dynasties. It is a large historical and cultural theme park of the Song Dynasty, recreated based on the famous Chinese painting 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' and constructed according to the 'Yingzao Fashi' building standards. Covering an area of over 600 acres, it opened to the public on October 28, 1998. In 2011, Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden in Kaifeng, Henan was rated as a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. Famous attractions include: Rainbow Bridge, Nine Dragon Bridge, Shangshan Gate, and Fuyun Pavilion.
