The Egyptian Grand Museum is amazing! So much history packed into a beautiful building, wonderfully engineered to include pyramid shapes everywhere! From the huge sculptures taken from rock sides to sarcophaguses never opened, youโll find plenty to stare and gawk at. Itโs worth the extra money to get a guide for an hour or two. Thereโs really so much to see it can seem overwhelming, but a good guide will get you the best highlights. Plan on at least 2 hours and maybe even a lunch in the many restaurants in the museumโs gallery. #egypt #cairo #grand_egyptian_museum #pyramids #historicallandmarks #localguides #historicallandmarks
