(SINCE 1946) The logo features the Rose of Sharon, Korea's national flower, and the store is characterized by its hanok (traditional Korean house) setting, a quintessentially Korean aesthetic. Just like the young man who, in a time of great hunger, believed that making bread that would satisfy and fill our people was patriotic and a service to the nation, the bakery has maintained its position for three generations with an unwavering commitment. Here's a look at the monaka ice cream and regular ice cream I tried there 🍦 The monaka ice cream had a crispy cookie exterior and a milk ice cream interior. The ice cream wasn't so hard that it was hard to eat, but rather soft enough to pair with the cookie, which made it enjoyable to eat. There was also regular ice cream, but the monaka ice cream was so impactful that I didn't remember it that well.
