The hotel's vibrant ambiance and the inviting SPACE cafe, previously reviewed in my lobby exploration, set the tone for our stay. Early arrival didn't hinder our experience, thanks to the accommodating staff who allowed us to deposit our luggage with ease. The lobby's brightness and open layout showcased a welcoming atmosphere. The room, while showing signs of age, maintained a commendable level of cleanliness. Equipped with essentials like dental kits, combs, shower caps, soap, and shampoo, the space boasted unblocked views from our elevated floor. Although not Hilton-grade, the soft and comfortable bed offered a decent reprieve, aligning with the hotel's value proposition. The petite rooftop pool, with its panoramic city vistas, served as a delightful family hangout. While compact, it provided a relaxing environment. However, the partially shaded sunbeds made sunbathing a bit tricky. The breakfast spread was a culinary delight. Nasi lemak with sambal squid stole the show—spicy yet addictive. The crispy exterior and soft, chewy center of the fried youtiao added to the morning feast. KSL Mall Exploration Within KSL Mall, an array of experiences awaited: 1. Local Delights: Indulge in a variety of local delights at the top-floor food court, featuring favorites like fried kway teow, wanton, seafood kway teow, and prawn noodles. 2. Pampering: Avail affordable hair treatments and mani-pedis, a fraction of the cost compared to Singapore. Concluding the day, a leisurely stroll from the hotel led us to Thai Imperial for a rejuvenating massage.
