Enter from the west gate, and you'll soon see streams after a short walk. It's been a while since I've seen such clear mountain spring water! The first stream spot is crowded, so I recommend starting from the second one for closer water play. It takes about 2h to walk the entire route, and it's not too tiring. ❗️❗️ Wear long pants and bring a pair of slippers. Day 2: Longchuan Scenic Area — Renli Scenic Area — Huizhou Ancient City ✔️ Longchuan Scenic Area ⭐️⭐️⭐️ No need to buy tickets. About 2km from the scenic area, there's a small wooden bridge. Park by the roadside and walk down to enjoy the stunning Huizhou-style architecture nestled among rolling mountains! ✔️ Renli Scenic Area ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Free admission. Experience the original ancient village and slow down the pace. ✔️ Huizhou Ancient City ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just a 50-minute drive from Jixi. Since the first two spots took little time, we drove directly to She County. Recommend the fermented rice cakes and tangyuan from Lingshan Fermented Rice Shop—delicious! Also try Huangshan sesame cakes. Day 3: Wan-Zhe Sky Road ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🚗 Route: Jiapen Village — Kantou Village — Meiganling Viewing Platform — Shang Village — Lovers' Waterfall — Yunshanling Viewing Platform — Little Jiuhua (Famous Chinese Mountain) — Dizang Grand Canyon — Zhuchuan Village 🏠 Accommodation: Hanting Hotel Jixi 🥢 Dining: Recommend small local restaurants. Huizhou Cuisine Museum is just okay—not worth the long wait. We tried Crazy BBQ and Jianhui Restaurant, both decent. Crazy BBQ is the top pick—their Three Delicacies Soup and chicken gizzards were so good we still crave them!
