It avoids the rainy season and lets you experience the autumn foliage of Jiuzhaigou, a fairytale forest at the world's end 🌲. After Jiuzhaigou, you can head straight to Ruoergai. The last few photos are taken in Ruoergai, and it's absolutely stunning. 🚗 Transportation: Since I'm traveling with a child, I chose to drive myself. 🈶️ This makes it easier to handle special situations, including discomfort caused by altitude sickness. 🎒 Preventing Altitude Sickness: Jiuzhaigou's highest altitude exceeds 3,000 meters, and you'll need to take a sightseeing bus up the mountain. So, make sure to bring all the essentials to prevent altitude sickness. Oxygen bottles, sunscreen, oximeters, squalene, and glucose (see pictures) 😄 are must-haves!
