Martyrs' List - A tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Dabie Mountains.

The Martyrs' List is exhibited at the Jinzhai County Revolutionary Museum, No. 230 Jinzhai Road, Jinzhai County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province. Jinzhai is the hometown of the Red Army and the land where martyrs heroically sacrificed their lives, with a glorious revolutionary tradition. Since the early 1920s, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people of Jinzhai have united and fought selflessly in the First Revolutionary War, the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, and the Socialist Peaceful Construction. They have written magnificent poems with their lives and blood for the liberation of the Chinese people and the cause of socialist construction. Tens of thousands of heroic sons and daughters have given their precious lives, and nearly 11,000 have been posthumously recognized as revolutionary martyrs, accounting for one-fifth of the total number of revolutionary martyrs in Anhui Province. Whether in the war years of gunfire and bullets or in the period of socialist construction, for the cause of the motherland and the people, they stood up and faced death with equanimity, demonstrating the heroic spirit of fearlessness.
