Hidden deep in the misty Jinxiu Daoyao Mountain is an ancient and mysterious village - Gubu Village. Stepping into Gubu Village, you can see the yellow wall and green tile stilted buildings. It is said that the stilted building is a unique architectural method of the Tea Mountain Yao, which is a place for women who are ready to go out, and it is also a romantic attic where women test men who love them and talk about love. These ancient houses are not only treasures of architectural art, but also faithful recorders of history and culture, carrying the wisdom and precious memories of the life of the Yao ancestors. The origin of the name of Gubu Village is full of mysterious colors, and it is closely related to a frog. It is said that the Yao people chose to migrate to the deep mountains and old forests in order to avoid wars and oppression. The ancestors came here and saw a frog in the deep mountain ditch, quietly lying on the stone, so they went up to catch it. What is amazing is that this frog is motionless. The ancestors believed that this place was peaceful and suitable for living. Therefore, the villagers named this place "Gubu" based on the homophonic sound of the scene where the frog always lay on the stone (dialect called "Gupu"). Gubu Village is built on the mountain. This is a tea mountain Yao village with only 37 households and more than 100 residents. Among these green mountains, there are thousands of precious medicinal materials. The 76-year-old Yao doctor Su Deliu proudly told reporters that in the early years, he worked hard to explore rare medicinal materials from other places and carefully transplanted them to the valley in front of the village.
