Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County, the main peak Shengtang Mountain, is composed of Devonian purplish-red conglomerate and sandstone. It has been eroded, cut, and weathered by natural forces and surface water over a long period, resulting in the Danxia-style rigid edge-cutting surface tower column landform of the Dayao Mountain with steep peaks, red cliffs, sharp edges, and deep canyons. 🚶🏻‍♂️Hiking Route →Ascent: Take the fork road at Yunhai Hotel, which is very steep and allows for a quick climb. It takes 3 and a half hours. →Descent: Take the ladder fork road, which is relatively gentle, with a broad view and better scenery, but there is a section of the cliff path that is not recommended for those with a fear of heights.
