Since the hotel provided pick-up and drop-off, and it was inconvenient to find new places with kids, we just went to the Starlight Night Market for a meal! This note is full of real experiences and guides to avoid pitfalls, so family members, please save it! 🍖 Food: The big BBQ stall in the night market has a great location, next to the lake, and the scenery is amazing, but the price is a bit expensive. The small stalls further inside are very cost-effective and popular, and the taste is just as good as the big stalls. We often pack up some food to eat at the hotel, it’s so delicious! I highly recommend trying the Dai-style barbecue, pounded chicken feet and lemongrass grilled fish, every bite is superb! 🍹Drinks: Freshly squeezed juice is a standard at night markets, but you must watch the boss squeeze the juice, as some stores will fool people with leftover juice. The one we often drink at, the boss cuts the fruit on the spot, and a cup is full of fresh fruit pulp, which tastes amazing! Laotian iced coffee is also worth a try. The rich coffee aroma and icy taste will make you fall in love with it at first bite! 📸Photography: The riverside is full of shops where people wear Dai costumes and take photos. The entire riverside is surrounded by flash lights and is very lively. If you want to take photos, it is recommended to find a store with many good reviews online in advance and make an appointment in advance to avoid disappointment on site. 💡Tips: 1. Remember to bargain when buying things, but don't bargain too hard. 2. Many night market delicacies are of the same type. To identify whether they are delicious and fresh, just look at how many people are queuing up. [Yeah] 3. I saw someone recommend the Riverside Night Market, so I asked the hotel, and they said it was a bit far, they didn’t provide pick-up and drop-off, and the food was pretty much the same, and there were a lot of people taking photos, so we still chose the Starlight Night Market, which is convenient and affordable.
