A hidden gem in Xishuangbanna that's about to blow up: a cliffside hotel.
After a series of unfortunate events during my Mid-Autumn Festival trip to Xishuangbanna, including closed attractions, heavy rain, and a midnight hotel change, I finally found a silver lining: the Xiyue VINVANA Hidden Resort was the right choice for this trip.

I must praise the hotel's butler, who was very thoughtful throughout our stay, from before check-in to check-out. On the day of check-out, they got up at 5 a.m. to pack breakfast for us because we had an early flight. So touching 🥰
In conclusion, Xiyue is definitely worth a visit. I first heard about it from a travel show featuring Gulnazar and Yang Di. It exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely come back to Banna just for it.

A niche hotel in Xishuangbanna that has become very popular
It hasn't officially opened yet, but I happened to stay there. It's quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, naturally secluded, and located just outside the Gaozhuang Starlight Night Market. The exterior has a sense of understated luxury, reminiscent of walking in Gangnam, Seoul. It offers great privacy with a gated entrance that prevents any disturbances.
Although it's newly renovated, there's no pungent smell in the rooms. Instead, there's the fragrance of solid wood, which is very calming.
Shierlan by day and Shierlan by night have two different faces. The riverside view is stunning, with a serene and comfortable atmosphere that discourages idle visitors. However, I prefer the time when night falls. The infinity pool reflects the Lancang River Bridge, and being immersed in such an atmosphere makes you want to do nothing but enjoy the breeze and daydream, quietly waiting for time to pass. It's a kind of enjoyment...

Xishuangbanna Day 2 Accommodation | Yunlan Riverside Hotel
| Yunlan Riverside Hotel. Since I'm in Banna, I want to stay in every hotel!
Today we moved to the neighboring Yunlan Riverside Hotel,
just a few steps away from yesterday's hotel,
also located in the bustling Gaozhuang Xishuang Scenic Area,
just a few minutes walk from the Starlight Night Market.
The room is very spacious and clean,
the bed is king size and very soft, very comfortable to sleep on!
This time we didn't book a river view, we stayed in a street view room,
I thought it would be noisy,
but the hotel's soundproofing is very good,
there was no street noise at all!
The most important thing is that this hotel has a high cost performance!
The huge swimming pool on the negative first floor of the hotel is my favorite!
During the day, because we went to various scenic spots,
so only at night did we have time to swim,
the pool is not only right by the Lancang River,
but there is also a small platform on the second floor where you can go up to enjoy the view!
No matter how you take pictures, they turn out great!
The hotel's breakfast fried rice is delicious,
breakfast is from eight to ten,
if you have time, you must try the duck!
The hotel's front desk staff are also very enthusiastic,

Our hotel for the first day is the Jiangyu Jiangjing Hot Spring Hotel.
Let's talk about the hotel location first!
It's inside the largest attraction in Jinghong City, Gaozhuang Xishuang Scenic Area!
It took us just 20 minutes by taxi from Xishuangbanna Airport.
Then, from the hotel, we can walk to the Starlight Night Market and the Golden Pagoda Temple,
It's so convenient!
Next to the hotel, there are various restaurants, clothing stores, and fruit shops.
There is an infinity pool downstairs of the hotel where you can enjoy the view of the Lancang River,
It really is all in one step!
This time we stayed in a "cave" room,
As soon as I entered the room, I felt like I was in a room built inside a cave!
The room is colored in a striking orange and yellow,
Very stylish,
Staying in such a room is really interesting.
The room is also very spacious!

The hotel also thoughtfully provided complimentary fruit and snacks for afternoon tea.
All in all, we are very satisfied with our Day 1 hotel!

Regret-not series – Southeast Asian style wooden resort hotel
Unexpectedly, there is such a comfortable hotel within the Gaozhuang scenic area. The entrance is not very eye-catching, but the interior surprised me a lot, giving me the feeling of a Southeast Asian seaside resort. Time seems to slow down here!
The king-size room is very spacious, with an open design and a wooden style that feels very textured. There are two large French windows, a terrace, and a bathtub🛁. I must especially praise the bedding; the sleep quality is guaranteed to be very comfortable!
The rooftop is the essence of this hotel. You check in at the lobby, which has a gym and an outdoor swimming pool, a leisure area, and a tea room, all in a wabi-sabi wooden style. The attention to detail shows care, and every moment of light and shadow is like art. The service is also meticulous; any issues raised are dealt with promptly. If you want to be close to the scenic area but not too noisy, and you're looking for quality, this hotel is a good choice~

The hotel I stayed in Xishuangbanna was more lovely than the last, with a great experience and location. It's right in Gaozhuang Xishuangjing, just a five-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market. It's a must-visit for those who want to have fun.
