Read a legendary story of the rainforest, the ancient, mysterious and passionate Xishuangbanna.

There is only one place in China that can perfectly replace Southeast Asia, and that is Xishuangbanna. It is said that Lijiang is for one person, Dali is for two people, and Xishuangbanna is for a family. Xishuangbanna is most suitable for family trips, it is perfect to bring the elderly and children together. Of course, this does not mean that it is not suitable for solo travelers or couples. It's just that going to Xishuangbanna with family is more suitable for some. 🗓Itinerary: Divide according to the directions of north, south, east, and west: ⏳Playtime: Day 1 North Route: Wild Elephant Valley, Kino Mountain Village, Primitive Forest Park, etc. Wild Elephant Valley 👎Least recommended: only saw the imprisoned elephants, so pitiful, refuse animal performances. Not highly recommended for this attraction, 30 minutes drive from Xishuangbanna. Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park 👍Most recommended: the most unique feature is the peacock flying performance, 20 minutes, other scenery is quite ordinary. The park doesn't feel very primitive either. If you exclude Wild Elephant Valley, everyone can go to the Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden. ✅Must experience. Day 2 East Route: Chinese Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden, Dai Ethnic Garden, etc. Chinese Academy of Sciences Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, a typical tropical rainforest with over 2000 plant species, definitely worth a visit. ✅Must-try experience. Xishuangbanna Dai Ethnic Garden contains the five best-preserved natural Dai villages in China, showcasing colorful ethnic customs and authentic culture. It is the soul of Xishuangbanna. ✅A must-visit experience. Day 3 West Route: Dushuchenglin Scenic Area, Mengjinglai Scenic Area, Hani Cultural Park, Jingmaishan, etc. Day 4 in the city: Manting Park, Zongfo Temple, Dafosi Temple, Dajin Pagoda, Xingguang Night Market, Jiangbian Night Market, Bouncing Dai Disco, Taking Dai Costume Photos, Watching Dai Show, Starbucks in Xishuangbanna, etc. Manting Park, formerly the imperial garden of the Dai Kingdom with a history of over 1300 years, is a natural village-style park with strong ethnic characteristics. ✅A must-visit experience. Starlight Night Market is said to be the largest night market in Southeast Asia. Enjoy Dai cuisine and appreciate Dai culture at the same time. North and east routes are a must. The north route is for visiting Dai ethnic villages, while the east route is more about plants. Each route requires a day trip. The city's attractions are also a must-visit, fortunately they are relatively close, and one day is enough. Then go watch the Dai show one night, and go to the Dai disco the next night, it's pretty good. 🍽️Food and beverage recommendations: 1. The nearest restaurant to Gaozhuang for delicious food. Copper Mine Snack Shop There are basically no blind spots, and it's cheaper per person when there are more people ordering. It's about 30+ which is more cost-effective than eating a bowl of rice. The dishes are served quickly and the environment is like the factories and mines in childhood, not too bad but with large portions. Unless you want to take away, it's not recommended to order too much. Cold cucumber salad, fried pork ribs, cold beef salad, pickled vegetables with fried meat, all OK. At least twice a week, let's go to her house. 2. Jingdong cuisine that locals will queue up for. Jingdong Wuliangshan Ecological Park A super delicious restaurant in Wuliang Mountain! I really love Jingdong cuisine! The table was full of delicious dishes that go well with rice, and people of any taste can find their favorite must-order dish, which is the steamed free-range chicken. Be sure to make a reservation one hour in advance! This free-range chicken is steamed and the meat is very tender and delicious! The small dishes, especially the vegetarian ones, are quite delicious. The price is a bit expensive, around 100+ per person, but you can taste the freshness and sweetness of the vegetables. 3. Hidden dishes known only by locals. Mountain top private cuisine The taste of this private kitchen is beyond words! It's best to make a reservation one hour in advance, as many dishes require time! 🍲Recommended dishes: steamed chicken with earthy flavor is really delicious! Stewed squash and potatoes with bone, which is very suitable for Yunnan people's taste, and steamed bacon and sausage. The environment is like an ordinary roadside stall, and parking is very convenient. 4. Travel to Xishuangbanna!! You must try this pot of stinky tofu and fish, as well as the sharp tofu and fish! Yang Yang Grilled Fish The weather in Xishuangbanna is hot, it's not comfortable to live without eating something spicy! It is said that this is a barbecue restaurant that locals love, and their signature dishes are stinky tofu and fish cooked with white stinky tofu! The taste is really delicious! The tofu is cooked until it's soft and flavorful, and the ingredients inside are very rich! It's a must-try! 5. Treasure food shops not to be missed. Wu Da Lan's Ice-Cold Lodge Local people come to pack, we are talking about cheap and delicious local small shops, how can we not love them! Like "Spring Chicken Feet", a must-eat snack when going to Xishuangbanna, we always eat many portions! We have tried many shops, both in-store and takeaway, and they are basically around 25 yuan but the portion is very small! Theirs is 22 yuan per portion, and it is a very large plate! !! There are also various ice 🍲 dishes recommended, such as "Green Bean Sand Ice", "Coconut Sand Ice", "Pineapple Sand Ice", all of which are delicious and only 10 yuan per bowl! With friends, we each tried different flavors and they were all very tasty! Sisters, don't miss it when you go to Xishuangbanna! 📝Attention tips: You can buy your own clothes for Dai costume photoshoot. Go to the street stalls or ethnic craft markets. I bought a full set of 6 pieces for less than 60! Dress, inner wear, shawl, waist belt, necklace, hydrangea. If it's just a dress wrapped around the chest, it's only around 25! Remember!!! Be sure to bargain, be sure to bargain!!!! Domestically, there is only one place that can perfectly replace Southeast Asia, and that is Xishuangbanna. Moreover, the high-speed railway from Kunming to Xishuangbanna is about to be completed. Currently, the biggest problem in Xishuangbanna is transportation. You can only fly there, but there are few cities that can fly directly to Xishuangbanna, and most of them need to transfer in Kunming. Once the high-speed railway is completed, it will be even more convenient to travel from Kunming to Xishuangbanna. It is estimated that by then, tourism in Xishuangbanna will continue to be popular.
