Jinggangshan is the cradle of the Chinese revolution. It was on this red land that the spark of revolution was ignited, leading to the success of the Chinese revolution. Jinggangshan is home to magnificent seas of clouds, unique waterfalls, stunning sunrises, the famous Ten-Mile Azalea Corridor, the globally renowned Huangyangjie and Maoping Octagonal Tower, the main peak of Jinggangshan featured on the fourth edition of the 100-yuan RMB note, and the most well-preserved sub-primitive forest at this latitude. It is an important place to learn about the revolutionary history of Jinggangshan. Ciping Town was the center of the revolutionary struggle in Jinggangshan, located in a small basin between the mountains. It is home to the Revolutionary Museum, Martyrs' Memorial Tower, and more. Roads connect Ciping to various memorial sites and major scenic spots. Yicui Lake Park in Ciping is a green gem in the center of Jinggangshan, with beautiful lake and mountain scenery. The former residence faces the beautiful Yicui Lake and was originally a farmer's house. On October 27, 1927, Mao Zedong led the Autumn Harvest Uprising troops to Ciping and lived here. During the year and more until January 1929, Mao Zedong lived and worked in the right rear room of the middle hall of this house whenever he came to Ciping.
