A world of seclusion independent of reality: Sanbao Peng Homestay

'Craftsmen come from all directions, and their creations travel the world.' Our understanding of Jingdezhen lies in its label as the 'Porcelain Capital'. For thousands of years, Jingdezhen's exquisite traditional porcelain-making skills have been recognized worldwide. During the Song Dynasty, it even ranked first among the four famous towns in the country (the other three towns are Foshan Town in Guangdong, Zhuxian Town in Henan, and Hankou Town in Hubei). This journey takes us to Sanbao Village, located in the southeast corner of Zhushan District, Jingdezhen City. This place was once an important mineral source providing the main raw material for Jingdezhen's ancient porcelain production. Jingdezhen's Sanbao Village, a place that has been producing high-quality porcelain clay since the Five Dynasties, has been known for its porcelain for thousands of years. The sound of the water mill, 'tang tang', echoes from ancient times to the present. The gurgling stream winds around the deep canyon and meanders to the foot of the mountain. In this small valley, there is a place of oriental aesthetic perfection, usually referred to as Sanbao Peng in Jingdezhen. Labels such as 'Beautiful Village of the New Century in China', 'Ceramic Culture Creative Industry Demonstration Zone', 'Textbook of Traditional Handicrafts Inheritance', and 'Green Ecological Health and Leisure Resort' reflect the vitality and glory of Sanbao Peng from different perspectives. The Sanbao Peng Art Colony project started in 2014. It is a 50-acre complex cultural and creative industry art park with ceramic culture at its core, integrating innovation and creativity, research and development design, international ceramic art exchange, experience exchange, ecological tourism, and Internet +. It wants to become the ideal country for Jingdezhen artists, craftsmen, designers, ceramic creative entrepreneurs, and small but beautiful businessmen. The park's planning and construction includes the Sanbao Peng Art Center, handmade commercial district, artist studios, artist training base, youth maker space, boutique hotels, workshop kilns and other buildings with different functions.
