Meihuazhou Scenic Area, Jiaxing, Zhejiang

Meihuazhou Scenic Area is named after its unique geographical shape. The five-petal terrain is lush with vegetation and surrounded by rivers, resembling a plum blossom. Meihuazhou has a history of over 1,500 years and still retains its original river system. It is one of the birthplaces of the Majiabang, Songze, and Liangzhu cultures. The scenic area is centered around Shifo Temple, which was built in the third year of the Yongchu period of the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of over 1,500 years. The scenic area is based on the concept of "dynamic water town, freehand Jiangnan" and offers sightseeing, leisure, meditation, conferences, accommodation, and ecological projects. The scenic area is crisscrossed by rivers, winding paths, and lush vegetation, as well as many ancient stone bridges and ancient residential buildings.
