A guide to viewing ginkgo trees in Chengdu in December.

Hi, everyone! I'm Baiyang, here to show you all the fun things to do in Chengdu. It's almost December, and the ginkgo trees in Chengdu are turning yellow. I previously put together a guide to ginkgo viewing spots, but the locations were a bit scattered. This time, I've put together a city walk route with 9️⃣ ginkgo viewing spots. The locations are close together, so you can enjoy the full autumn atmosphere. 🍂 — 👉🏻Route: Qingyang Palace - Huanhua South Road - Caotang East Road - Huanhuaxi Park - Du Fu Thatched Cottage Main Entrance - Baihua West Road - Baihuatan Park - Jinli West Road - People's Park —— 🍂The route is about 5 km long. It's about 400 m from Qingyang Palace to Huanhua South Road, so you can walk or ride a bike. The route from Huanhua South Road to Baihua West Road is lined with ginkgo trees, most of which have already turned yellow. —— 1️⃣Qingyang Palace: This is one of the best places to view ginkgo trees in the city. The ginkgo trees in the scenic area turn yellow a bit later. 2️⃣Huanhua South Road: This street is next to the Sichuan Museum. It's lined with tall ginkgo trees, making it a great place to take photos. 3️⃣Du Fu Thatched Cottage Main Entrance: This is a free place to take photos of red walls and ginkgo trees. The ginkgo trees on both sides of the road are lush and have already started to turn yellow. 4️⃣Caotang East Road: This is a great place to wander alone. You might be surprised by a splash of gold around a corner. 5️⃣Baihua West Road: The ginkgo trees on both sides of the road are even more lush. The two white stone arch bridges and the golden ginkgo trees make for great ancient-style photos. 6️⃣Baihuatan Park: The thousand-year-old ginkgo tree from the Tang Dynasty in the Ginkgo Square is a must-see. 7️⃣Jinli West Road: This street is near the covered bridge in Baihuatan Park. It's a great place to see the combination of the Jin River and ginkgo trees. 8️⃣People's Park: The road opposite the Ginkgo Pavilion is lined with lush ginkgo trees.
