West China Urban Village (the best village in the world)

Huaxi Village, also known as the No. 1 Village in the World and Huaxi Urban Village, is located in the west of Huashi Town, Jiangyin City, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, at the end of the Yangtze River, with a total area of ​​35 square kilometers; in 1978, Huaxi Village (scenic spot) was officially opened to the outside world. Huaxi Village (scenic spot) consists of more than 80 major attractions, including the West China Urban Agriculture Demonstration Park, the West China Happiness Park, the Faith Grand View Garden, the Bell King, the Ox King, the Drum King, the Huaxi Village Museum, the Golden Pagoda, the West China Nationalities Palace, the Dragon Boat Parade, and the Sky Flower and Bird Garden. It is composed of scenic spots; it is a model of China's "new socialist rural construction". In 2004, Huaxi Village was rated as one of the first batch of "National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Sites". On August 26, 2020, Huaxi Village was selected into the second batch of national rural tourism key villages.
