I had always believed that the quality of high-end hotels would undoubtedly surpass that of homestays, until my return from Jiande over the weekend, which somewhat overturned my understanding! It turns out that the quality of a homestay depends on the host's dedication and taste🍷. 🏯Meicheng, a remote ancient city in Jiande, Hangzhou, is located on the banks of the Fuchun River. The beautiful scenery of the Fuchun River, as depicted by Meng Haoran in his verse "Wild expanse under the low sky, clear river under the close moon", is now known to few. The advantages are naturally obvious: 🌟Direct high-speed rail access, avoiding crowds, and high cost-performance ratio of hotels🌟. 🏨Jiande·Lanqing Shiguang Homestay Their property is located in the south gate parking lot of the scenic area, and the ancient town is just outside the back door. Initially, I thought it would be a quaint guest room, and based on past experience, I would have to make do with the sanitary conditions of the ancient architecture. 🚣Upon entering the hotel, the first thing I saw was a popular swimming pool and coffee shop! ✨To the right of the swimming pool is a whole loft building. We stayed in a large bed room above the swimming pool. The attention to detail as we ascended the stairs was very touching. There were sensor lights installed under the steps, and the combination of glass walls➕ancient crystal chandeliers was very design-oriented. The room had a high ceiling and an antique-style roof could be seen. Outside the glass bathtub, there were light strips and stones embedded, so there was no fear of water splashing out during a bath at night. Projectors are not uncommon, but it's rare to see one with such a delicate screen. We ended up treating the homestay like a model room for decoration, touching here and taking pictures there. For the first time, we felt like taking the hotel amenities home. The owner said this was not the first time, as guests often asked to purchase their soft-bristle toothbrushes, pillows, bathrobes, and bath products, etc... The breakfast area was very elegant, with a fireplace➕wicker chairs, and a small earthen house where no pots and pans could be seen. Meals were served on trays, accompanied by Jiande's unique tofu wraps. Children under 1.4m also had the privilege of choosing their own meals, without having to pay extra or share with their parents. There are actually quite a few places to play around the Fuchun River. In addition to traditional attractions, there are also plenty of water activities, picking activities, etc., which are all suitable for family outings and team building.
