[Jeonju] Day trip from Seoul❗️ Deokjin Park & ​​Yeonhwajeong Library

#0YenTrip2025Autumn My second visit to Jeonju. This time, instead of Jeonju Hanok Village, I took a 20-minute bus ride from the Intercity Bus Terminal. I went to Deokjin Park. This park is built around Deokjin Lake, and the entire lake is covered in lotus flowers. Unfortunately, it wasn't the flowering season (July-August). But even so, the lotus leaves, as tall as a person, were magnificent! The Yeonhwa Bridge, spanning the lake, has been replaced by the Yeonhwajeong Library. It's open to the public, and you can appreciate the beauty of the hanok architecture. While there's no cafe, there are restrooms, so it's a great place to stop by! Apparently, the park is lit up at night and features a fountain show. There's also an athletic facility for children to play in. The park is quite large, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a parasol, hat, and water, especially in the summer.
