This local coastal island is absolutely a must see with all its historical homes and sites. Located on the coast of Georgia just past Savanah its definitely a hidden gem for sure! This island has such rich history and many different houses that you can actually tour that belonged to many different rich and powerful historical families such as Rockefeller and Carnegie. The victorian homes will definitely leave you very impressed. There is a beach named driftwood beach thats worth the look and many different little restaurants and shops around as well! This island is more known for its history and ancient older buildings for sure. There are many even older homes from the 1700s to 1800s as well that are still standing and are amazing to see! everyone should take a weekend trip here! #staycation #beachlife
