Winter Snow Mountain Hiking [Hallasan]

๐Ÿ“ Jeju Seogwipo City Topyeong-dong San 15-1 Hallasan, the highest mountain in South Korea, stands at 1,950 meters. The hike up to Gwaneumsa Temple and back down to Seongpanak took about eight hours. These days, Jeju has everything you need, so guesthouses offer everything from Hallasan pickup to crampons, walking sticks, and sneaker rentals. All I needed was a solid body and a never-say-die spirit. It's definitely tough, but the higher you climb, the more breathtaking the scenery will be. ๐Ÿ™‚ #snowflake #winterhallasan #hallasan

I visited Jeju in early September, which was still considered summer this year. The weather was quite hot, and it rained frequently, but the scenery more than made up for itโ€”the views were absolutely stunning. I took the shortest trail on Mount Hallasan, enjoyed some amazing Korean BBQ, and was spoiled for choice with the number of cafes offering breathtaking beach views. It was also my first time driving on the right side of the road. While it took some getting used to, navigating around wasnโ€™t too difficult. You just need to be extra cautious at roundabouts (there are many!) and junctions. That said, self-driving is definitely the best way to explore Jeju, as the island is large and its attractions are quite spread out. Iโ€™d love to visit Jeju againโ€”perhaps in autumn, when the leaves turn golden brown and the island takes on a whole new charm. #jeju #september #summer #hallasanmountain #jejublackpork #jejucafe ChatGPT can make mistakes.
